Follow Xaman's standard Secret Numbers setup.
XRPL documentation identifies Xaman as a noncustodial example. You safeguard its access.
- Private Secret Numbers
- Public r-address
- Unfunded account
Create and back up the account
Install through the xaman.app route linked by the XRPL lesson. In Xaman, choose Create a new account. Its standard Secret Numbers backup has eight rows, A through H, with six digits per row. Privately record all rows in order and confirm them inside Xaman. Never send those numbers to this platform.
Finish setup without activation
Xaman then shows the public r-address. Choose its passcode/biometric security or extra signing-password option, name the account and finish. Check the XRP Ledger context. The unfunded account can remain unactivated; consult the live reserve documentation before any later funding, rather than memorizing an activation amount.
Draw two information boundaries
Observe the guide, or optionally create a new unfunded account.
- Make a private-recovery box and a public-address box.
- Explain why a community moderator needs neither your recovery nor your password.
- Mark activation as a later, separate decision.
Creating access and funding a ledger account are separate steps.
Keep the backup private and check live activation requirements.
