Describe the information to check before and after a transfer.
A spinning button means an action is being attempted. A confirmed network record tells you what happened.

The preflight line
Check the network, recipient, asset and amount. Follow the receiving service's instructions. On Ethereum, allow for network fees in addition to the transferred amount. Use the matching chain notebook to check its payment rules before your first transfer there.
Follow the transaction identifier
A transaction can be pending, included or fail during execution. On Ethereum, a failed execution can still consume gas. Read the status and resulting balance changes in the correct network explorer; a transaction hash alone does not prove a successful payment.
Rehearse with a blank receipt
This is a paper exercise, not a request to send money.
- Make five blank fields: network, recipient, asset, amount, fee.
- Add a sixth field for any extra receiving-service instructions.
- Add 'transaction ID' and 'final status' beneath them for the after-send check.
A complete check includes both the intended action and the recorded result.
Read the final receipt, not just the notification.
