Diagnose the display
BNB Chain's guide describes checking the selected network and importing a token by contract when needed. BSC and opBNB are not interchangeable display contexts. A token import changes what the wallet shows.
Verify before considering a swap
Compare the exact contract on BSC with the project's official source. Do not treat an imported ticker, icon or a search result as evidence of legitimacy. Read the quote's token identity before considering any permission or transaction.
