Use official wallet instructions and locate the Cosmos Hub account without funding it.
Keplr is an illustrative wallet, not an endorsement. Its mobile guide offers more than one account-creation method.
Choose an understood recovery method
Install Keplr Mobile through its official links. Choose Create a new wallet, then Create new recovery phrase. Preserve the phrase privately offline and complete the word confirmation inside the wallet. Name the wallet, include Cosmos Hub in the selected chains, then Save and Done. The alternative Google-account path has different recovery instructions; do not mix the two.
Locate the Hub rather than a look-alike network
Select Cosmos Hub when inspecting the account. Keplr can present several chains, so an address or balance from a different network is not a substitute for the Hub account. Use the Hub documentation's wallet and explorer links as a starting point, then confirm the network shown by the destination.
Build a wallet setup card
Read the official guide or optionally prepare a fresh unfunded wallet.
- Locate the official install link and the recovery-phrase setup choice.
- Write where the backup would be stored without writing any real words into the course.
- Find Cosmos Hub in the network list and stop before funding or connecting to an application.
