Write down the exact asset
For a Cardano native token, compare the policy ID and asset name with the project's primary materials. A token bundle can contain several assets at once, so review what each output carries. A matching name or picture does not replace the ledger identity.
Keep ADA costs visible
A script interaction can involve execution fees and collateral alongside the exchanged value. Distinguish those items. If inputs and outputs remain unclear, pause and read the application documentation before approving anything.
Build a swap review card
Use a public app's documentation or a screenshot, with no wallet connection.
- Record the input and output asset identities, including policy IDs where supplied.
- List the output amount, network fee and any collateral field separately.
- Mark missing information as a reason to stop, not a reason to guess.
A complete review can reject an unclear transaction before money is involved.
Establish identity, then understand the outputs, then decide whether to sign.
