Follow Core's manual-creation path and check its network.
Avalanche Support links Core as an example. Its manual and email-based recovery paths differ.
- Private backup
- Wallet access
- Unfunded setup
A manual Core extension example
Use the official installation link in Core's guide. Select manual wallet creation, privately record the recovery phrase and verify the requested words inside Core. Set the wallet name and password, then finish its setup prompts. Google or Apple creation uses another authentication path; do not assume the same recovery process.
Use the C-Chain context
Select C-Chain using the current network documentation and inspect its public receiving address. Keep this setup unfunded; do not substitute a P- or X-Chain address.
Make a C-Chain setup card
Observe the guides, or optionally create a new unfunded wallet.
- Draw a private-backup box away from the card.
- Put the network identity on the card.
- Explain which receiving information can be shared.
Recovery information and a public receiving address serve different purposes.
Use the current provider instructions and keep secrets private.
