Przeczytaj angielski oryginał →The mint is the token's identity
Check mint identity and authority before considering a swap.
Two tokens can share a name. That does not make them the same mint.
- Official mint address
- Token program + authorities
- Exact-mint quote
Use the exact mint
A Solana token is identified by its mint address. Token accounts record balances for particular mints. Compare the mint with an official project source instead of relying on a ticker or picture.
Read the controls
Check the token program and relevant authorities or extensions. A mint authority may create supply; a freeze authority may freeze token accounts. These permissions and token-account requirements belong in a pre-swap review.
A copied-name puzzle
Imagine two tokens both named STAR.
- Give them different fictional mint addresses.
- Mark the one an official source identifies.
- List the controls you would inspect next.
A copied label cannot replace mint verification.
Check the mint and its controls before reviewing a price.
