Prepare a contract interaction review using Aptos-native identifiers.
Before a swap, ask two questions: which asset is this, and what function will run?
Compare identities beyond the ticker
An asset can use a legacy type or fungible asset metadata. Compare its documented identifier with the explorer. A matching ticker cannot replace that address or type identity.
Use the explorer as a reading tool
The integration guide describes explorer contract records and read-only views. Inspect the module and intended function. Run can execute an onchain action; View reads state. This exercise uses public records and avoids Run.
Write an unsigned review
Choose a documented Aptos application and observe its public contract page.
- Record its network, module address and intended function.
- Record the input and output asset identifiers supplied by the project.
- Mark missing identity or fee information; do not click Run or sign a transaction.
Public contract reading can clarify an action before a wallet ever authorizes it.
Verify the asset, the module and the function before reviewing a signature request.
