Create a wallet and find BNB on BSC
Follow a manual-backup example and verify the network.
BNB Chain lists Trust Wallet as an example. Assess the provider rather than relying on its listing.
- Private backup
- BNB Smart Chain
- Public receiving address
A Trust Wallet mobile example
Install through trustwallet.com's official download links. Choose Get Started, Create a New Wallet, then Back up manually. Write the 12 recovery words privately in order, confirm the requested words inside the app, and set its passcode or biometric protection. Keep this backup outside the classroom.
Check the receiving network
Find BNB on BNB Smart Chain, then Receive to inspect its public address. Do not confuse BSC with opBNB. The official network card specifies Mainnet 56 and testnet 97; BNB pays Mainnet fees. Match the current configuration and leave the new wallet unfunded.
Build a network comparison
Observe the guides, or optionally create a new unfunded wallet.
- Write 56 and 97 in separate columns.
- Label their native currencies.
- Add a check for the receiving screen's full network name.
A test network is distinct from Mainnet even in the same wallet.
Check the network card before using an address.
