Build a personal preparation checklist and recognize a reason to stop.
Finishing a course does not create a deadline to trade. Readiness includes being able to walk away.
Know what you are interacting with
Research the asset and the application independently. Unexpected airdrops, implausible returns and requests for recovery material are reasons to stop. A ticker, image or displayed balance alone does not establish the identity or safety of a token.
Write the missing questions
Write down the application, exact token and requested spender. Inspect the allowance before signing. The market-reading course adds quote and liquidity checks; the DeFi course adds protocol risks. Any unanswered item belongs on your study list before it belongs in a signed transaction.
Make a stop list
Use a fictional asset. The aim is to practice a decision process, not choose a coin.
- Write three pieces of evidence you would need before connecting.
- Write one condition that would make you stop, such as an unknown spender.
- Choose your next chain notebook and identify the wallet lesson.
A good preparation checklist tells you when to stop as well as what to do.
Understanding comes before urgency.
