영어 원문 읽기 →An address owns objects
Tell ownership from identity and object version.
On Sui, a wallet's assets can be understood as objects with identities and ownership rules.
- Wallet address
- Owned coin object: ID and version
- Coin type: which currency?
Give each object its own label
A Sui object has an ID and version. Transactions read, modify or create objects. Ownership can be address-owned, shared or immutable. The ownership rules govern use; the ID identifies the object.
Separate a coin from its type
An open-loop fungible coin uses Coin<T>, where T identifies the coin type. Several coin objects can represent amounts of the same currency. Name, symbol and decimals are metadata, while the type is the stronger identity to compare when checking an asset.
Sort three labels
Use the examples in the object documentation; no account is needed.
- Make columns for an address, an object ID and a coin type.
- Write what each label identifies.
- Explain how two coin objects could have one coin type but different IDs.
An asset's ownership and currency identity are related, but they are not the same field.
Check owner, object and type as separate parts of a Sui interaction.
