Pin down the asset
A token-information lookup uses the network and token address, with metadata such as name, image and social links. Record that identity before comparing two pages. Shared names or pictures are not a substitute for checking the exact asset.
Use the record for the claim it supports
An explorer can show transaction status, accounts and contract activity. That evidence can establish what a transaction did; it cannot by itself prove a team's future promises. Keep observed facts, the project's statements and your own interpretation in separate parts of the note.
Write a six-line field note
Choose a project you are curious about. No purchase or account is needed.
- Write its network, exact asset identifier and the page URL.
- Record one observable fact with its timestamp and source.
- Write one claim that needs more evidence and one question for your next reading.
You have a research starting point that another person can inspect.
Leave a trail that someone else can follow.
