Leggi l’originale inglese →BNB Chain is broader than BSC
Name the particular network used by this course.
A shared brand can cover different execution environments. That matters at transfer time.
- BNB ecosystem
- BSC smart contracts
- Other distinct networks and services
Focus on Smart Chain
BNB Smart Chain, or BSC, is an EVM-compatible blockchain using Proof of Staked Authority. It runs smart contracts and has its own transaction and validator environment.
Keep related networks separate
The BNB ecosystem also includes opBNB and Greenfield, with different roles. This course covers BSC. Matching branding or an address format does not establish that a destination accepts the same network.
Write the full network name
Use a fictional recipient request.
- Write send on BNB as an incomplete instruction.
- Add BNB Smart Chain explicitly.
- Mark what you still need to verify.
A precise network name reduces ambiguity.
Specify BNB Smart Chain before following a transaction guide.
