Solidity contracts beside the XRP Ledger, with a separate validator and bridge history
XRPL EVM Sidechain is a separate smart contract network connected to the XRP Ledger. It launched publicly in June 2025 with bridged XRP for gas. Its development moved from an experimental witness bridge to Axelar, while its permissioned validator process and 2026 security changes require their own account.

ZetaChain is a sovereign EVM-compatible ledger with the ZETA token. An official notice scheduled its legacy cross-chain services to wind down in June 2026. In September, the team reported holder approval for a later move of native ZETA and its private AI application layer to Solana, while keeping the L1 running until holders migrate.
An early payment rollup whose final chapter is an Ethereum withdrawal process
ZKsync Lite was the payment-focused rollup originally known as zkSync 1.0. It used Ethereum contracts, published data and validity proofs rather than a separate coin's validator network. Block production stopped on May 4, 2026; the remaining account history and withdrawal process are distinct from ZKsync Era.
