ஆங்கில மூலத்தை வாசிக்கவும் →Gas price expresses how much native currency is paid for one gas unit. On Ethereum, gwei is a convenient denomination: one gwei equals one billion wei. Modern fee-market transactions distinguish a maximum total price from a maximum priority fee. The effective price at inclusion depends on the block's base fee and the permitted tip; the maximum setting is a ceiling, not automatically the amount paid for every unit of gas.
For an illustrative transaction, let the base fee be 12 gwei, the maximum priority fee 3 gwei, and the maximum total fee 20 gwei. Its effective price can be 15 gwei. If the base fee rises to 19 gwei, the same total cap leaves room for only a 1 gwei tip. A base fee above the cap makes that transaction ineligible for inclusion under those terms. This is why two apparently generous wallet settings can produce different results as conditions change.
Paying a higher effective tip can improve a transaction's economic attractiveness, but it does not guarantee inclusion, exact ordering, or application success. An earlier account nonce can block progress, a proposer may use a different ordering policy, and the contract can revert after execution begins. When diagnosing a delay, inspect the pending nonce, current fee conditions, and transaction status together. The final receipt's effective price is stronger evidence of what was paid than a wallet's earlier suggested quote.
